Founder's story

Welcome to LinkVital.

Thank you for considering us as your partner in making innovative strides in the MedTech industry.

LinkVital performs two key roles in the MedTech industry. First, we provide specialized consulting to help MedTech manufacturers successfully introduce innovative products to market and achieve sustainable growth through collaboration with global partners. Second, we facilitate global business expansion by serving as an innovative hub connecting key stakeholders including development manufacturers, distributors, and medical professionals.

Through 26 years of experience in the MedTech industry, I have frequently witnessed the reality that innovative products cannot succeed on superior technology alone. Early-stage companies struggle to secure commercialization talent. Even when they do secure talent, they face new challenges. Recruiting experienced executive-level professionals with complex capabilities requires accepting high costs and uncertainties. Meanwhile, attempting to develop internal talent is difficult to justify given the recent trend of shorter average employee tenure.

Manufacturer Consulting: Accompanying the Journey to Commercialization

MedTech manufacturers experience a lack of actionable market entry strategies and implementation capabilities during the commercialization phase. LinkVital accurately diagnoses problems that arise during manufacturers' commercialization process and presents practical solutions tailored to company situations, helping clients focus on core challenges.

Traditional management consulting often involves excessive time and cost spent on extensive market research and lengthy report writing. Furthermore, these deliverables often fail to properly reflect the complexity of companies and markets or lead to actionable plans. To address these issues, LinkVital develops executable strategies through practical brainstorming sessions involving company stakeholders and KOLs. This enables companies to respond quickly to market changes and make autonomous decisions for immediate implementation. We provide efficient and practical sustainable consulting that generates tangible results through continuous challenge and experimentation.

Global Business Expansion: A Hub Connecting Stakeholders

MedTech Manufacturer Issues

For development manufacturers, global expansion remains an ongoing challenge even after matching with local distributors. Even after establishing partnerships, various challenges must be addressed for successful market entry and expansion. While most MedTech manufacturers possess capabilities up to product certification, they find it difficult to internally secure implementation capabilities for product commercialization in the early stages.

In such situations, many manufacturers choose to contract with large local distributors and passively wait for results after completely delegating marketing and sales. However, this can become a passive and risky strategy. MedTech commercialization requires a much more complex and multifaceted approach than development and certification, and the process becomes even more challenging when products are innovative and have high growth potential.

Challenges of Local Distributors

Local distributors play a crucial role based on their deep understanding of the medical environment and sensitivity to customer needs. As global MedTech companies review their channel strategies, existing partnerships have dissolved, opening new opportunities. However, distributors face various challenges. Even experienced distributors find it difficult to focus on discovering partnerships for new product lineups, and may encounter unexpected situations during partnership formation and product launches. This is particularly because distribution market entry strategies need to vary significantly depending on whether the partner is a global MedTech company with professional commercialization organization or a startup.

When collaborating with global MedTech companies, distributors can focus on stable market entry under proven commercialization strategies. Conversely, when collaborating with innovation technology-based, development-focused MedTech companies, distributors must take a more proactive role from discovering new alliance partners to establishing and implementing market entry strategies. These environmental changes indicate that distributors must evolve beyond simple distribution channels to become strategic market entry partners.

LinkVital deeply understands these changes, promotes close cooperation between manufacturers and distributors, and supports the development of sustainable market entry strategies.

The Third Partner of Commercialization, KOLs

Finally, among the key stakeholders in the MedTech industry, the role of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) cannot be overlooked. KOLs play a crucial role in validating product value and increasing market acceptance based on clinical credibility. Particularly, establishing an international KOL network demonstrates powerful effects during the commercialization process. They become the core driving force leading market entry in each country through clinical research, case studies, user experience presentations, education, and academic dissemination. LinkVital discovers KOLs suitable for products and markets, and supports effective dissemination of product innovation through systematic advocate programs.

LinkVital goes beyond simply connecting and matching these three key stakeholders, serving as a hub to enable partnerships to create synergy.

LinkVital's Dream: Creating a MedTech Commercialization Ecosystem

LinkVital successfully leads MedTech manufacturing and sales companies through their complex journey of commercialization and global market entry. We connect scattered key success factors and roles into one, ultimately aiming to build an ecosystem where these connections expand organically. LinkVital will lead innovation in commercialization beyond product development innovation.

Let's innovate, connect, and prosper together.
